DNS code

How do i get my DNS code/number? Hi, ive just tried to link my xbox 360, with the internet, using a cable not wireless. But it wont work, it says that the ip address is fine, but i need to get the correct DNS code/number (not sure exactly what it is) So could anyone tell me where and how i can get it please. THANKS
